ABOUT OUR VESSEL
Our flagship vessel is a USCG-inspected tour boat built for both comfort and celebration, welcoming groups of up to 17 passengers. Perfect for bachelor(ette) parties, engagements, corporate outings, graduations, reunions, memorials and ash scatterings, or simply a day of river cruising.

US Coast Guard Licensed Boat Captain
Nate Hoffman came to Portland in the 1990s and quickly fell in love with the city’s vibrant culture and scenic waterways. A licensed mortgage professional, USCG-licensed boat captain, and ordained minister, Nate has worn many hats throughout his career—all of which reflect his passion for connection, community, and creating memorable experiences.
A world traveler, avid foodie, and lifelong book enthusiast, Nate brings his curiosity and love of people into everything he does. He founded Boatique Events to share the beauty of Portland’s rivers and craft one-of-a-kind private experiences where guests can celebrate life’s moments with great company, good food, and unforgettable views.
Event Coordinator
Sandy came to Portland in 2015 for graduate school and soon found herself immersed in the city’s creative energy. With a background in event planning since 2009 and a focus on weddings beginning in 2016, she has spent over a decade helping people celebrate life’s most meaningful moments. Today, she also curates group travel experiences, bringing people together through shared adventures around the world.
An Argentine tango teacher and PADI-certified mermaid instructor (yes, this may be why the mermaid is our logo), Sandy blends artistry, joy, and imagination into everything she does. At Boatique Events, she is excited to bring her expertise to the water—crafting unique, memorable celebrations that reflect the spirit of each group she works with.
